Andrea with Galaxy, Andrew with Deacon
Andrea
Andrea began riding at age 3 and competing at age 5, and spent eight years riding hunters and huntseat through the "A" circuit. At age 13, she began eventing, and has successfully trained and competed to Intermediate. She has trained with internationally renowned riders Lucinda Green, Jimmy Wofford, Denny Emerson, Mike Plumb, Capt. Mark Phillips, and David O'Connor.
In consecutive years as a junior rider, Andrea's competition was highlighted by winning the honor of USCTA (now USEA) Area 1 High Point Junior Novice Rider (1999), High Point Junior Training Rider (2000), and High Point Preliminary Young Rider (2001). In addition, in 2000, Andrea won the title of USCTA National Junior Training Rider of the Year, riding Without Consent. In 1999, she was the Area 1 Novice Champion, and in 2001, the Area 1 Preliminary Reserve Champion.

A Massachusetts licensed riding instructor, Andrea has regularly taught in New England from May 2002. As an undergraduate, she was also an instructor in Mount Holyoke College's nationally recognized equestrian program (please see References page). After a brief hiatus from competition in order to complete undergraduate studies at Mount Holyoke, Andrea is again schooling and campaigning her new youngsters and putting the finishing touches on Glenbaer's training facilities.
Andrea is also in the certification process by the USEA Instructor Certification Program (ICP), as well as the comparable program with the United States Dressage Federation (USDF). Her instruction and training assist in redeveloping clear communication between riders and horses that have reached a "road block" in their training. Likewise, her style and methods allow riders to correctly progress to the next level without becoming rushed or overfacing their horses.

Andrew
Captain Andrew S. Glenn is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He is currently stationed at Ft.Benning, Georgia, and regularly commutes home to Glenbaer. In his "free time," he is the assistant trainer at Glenbaer and with Team St. Hilaire-Glenn.
Andrew began his riding career by first learning the ropes on Deacon, and then beginning competition on a lovely Irish Sport Horse. Today, Andrew handles a large part of groundwork with the greenies at Glenbaer, strongly reinforcing proper behavior and manners. With his reinforcing and encouraging style, he also schools the horses that need to learn to enjoy their job again.
